FAQ
Can Cellular Toy Shoppe Repair Water-Damaged Cell Phones?
Yes. At Cellular Toy Shoppe, we offer professional water-damage cleaning and recovery services for smartphones and tablets exposed to liquid. The sooner you bring your device in, the better the chances of a successful recovery. If your phone has come into contact with water or another liquid, we recommend: Powering the device off immediately Removing any case or accessories Avoiding charging or plugging it in Bringing it to us as soon as possible for assessment Our technicians can carefully open the device, dry internal components, clean corrosion, and perform diagnostic testing to determine whether the device can be restored. Please note that if a phone has remained wet or corroded for several weeks, the chances of successful repair decrease significantly. In some cases, extensive board damage may make repair uneconomical. If that's the case, we'll provide honest advice on whether a repair is worthwhile or if a replacement would be the better option. Don't rely solely on home remedies such as placing the phone in rice. Professional cleaning and treatment offer the best chance of saving your device and recovering your data. Visit Cellular Toy Shoppe as soon as possible after liquid exposure for the best results, or email info@cellulartoyz.com.
